DST-KEMI A/S was founded in 1987 by Peer Funk, focussing on development and production of industrial waste water plants –
DST, Dansk Spildevands Teknik. In 1989, the first demulsifying degreasers were introduced in Denmark, after which chemistry
became the main focus of DST-KEMI A/S.
In 1993, DST-KEMI obtained the right to market its degreasers as eco friendly. Throughout the 1990s, the range was expanded with various products and focus was aimed at the products' passivating abilities which are essential in all production lines.
Since 2005, the products have been marketed under the
DST-DEGREEZ® brand, and products for cleaning after thermal deburring have been added to the portfolio.
In 2008, the company moved to newly built, state-of-the-art facilities with a laboratory, sales and administration department, production and management. The second generation, Jacob Funk, was appointed CEO the same year. Today, Peer Funk is chairman of the supervisory board of DST-KEMI.
Today, our portfolio includes more than 20 products which meet most industrial degreasing needs. New products are developed on an ongoing basis to strengthen DST-KEMI's competitiveness further in the future.
